High Summer

Well, turns out I've been more busy than I thought I would be. In fairness, not having to revise or anything leaves little excuse for staying indoors, so instead I've been wandering around London and other such pretty places.

For those that care to know, my Old English exam went OK -- one part of it I did REALLY bad, but the rest made up for it I think -- and yesterday I was told I passed my two subjects (whoo!), so it's all good. My current project is working on the title for my dissertation (something which is turning out to be quite hard actually), and contemplating reading for my subjects next year, Shakespeare, Moderns II, and To Be Decided. I'm torn - or more like, lightly swayed - between The Romantic Period and the Restoration. Both sound a bit unattractive, but the other courses offered next year are even more boring.

Been doing lots of extra stuff as well. Most people have started the process of Summer Leaving, and as usual some leave permanently, which makes this time a bit sad. I myself have less than two weeks left before going home, but until then there's so many people to see and things to do!
